New MacBooks, MacBook Pros, Home Pod, iMac Pros and iOS11 it must be WWDC! Last week was Apple’s World Wide Developer’s Conference which had a few surprising announcements and few expected ones, so let’s start from the top.

Apple unveiled a slew of Macs and the one that has got us most excited is the new iMac Pro which is out in December at $4999. It comes in Space Grey and is, as described on stage, “badass’. It will feature, in the base configuration, an 8-core Xeon processor with Radeon Vega graphics. It will also come with 32GB RAM and up to 128GB SSD hard drive. Oh, and they have thrown in a 10 Gigabit Ethernet for you as well for easy video editing collaboration or file transfer over a network.

The MacBook Pro’s was upgraded from Silverlake to Kaby Lake CPU’s and their SSD’s received a 50% speed boost. MacBook Airs got a minor speed boost too – it’s retirement date has been postponed as it is still selling well.

In the iPad corner, Apple released an A10X Fusion chip powered. 10.5in iPad with a smaller bezel, they also released a 12.9-inch iPad Pro that’s also powered by the A10X.

Elsewhere updates to watchOS, iOS, macOS, and tvOS were included in this year’s WWDC. In macOS High Sierra (this year’s name for the OS) we get virtual reality support and in iOS 11, we get AR support in the form of AR Kit.
